Love the scale bought it for my dad who’s blind. Great scale for the money . . .easy to work with . . .now if my Dad would stop arguing with it and believe that’s what it weighs. Wish it would talk back to him and tell him to shut up!! haha

Accurate for us big guys and gals…it goes up there to 550lbs so plenty of room for growth ..umm well maybe not a good idea to keep growing ..but if your already up there ..this scale works great and talks to you to so if you cant see your feet ..no worries..the scale tells you what it says so you dont have to be able to see it.

The scale is pretty self explanatory. The scale looks just like you see in the picture. The speaking voice is pretty loud, but then it’s probably because of my echoing bathroom. I haven’t checked to see if there’s a volume for her voice. A slight tap on the scale and she wakes up, tells you when she’s ready, weighs you, and tells you your weight. She even says “good-bye.” So far, so good. It’s not heavy or anything and can be easily moved, but just like any other scale, it does need an even flat surface.

Having a very large person in the family it is great to have found a scale that he can actually use and that didn’t cost hundreds of dollars.

I have been using the scale for a week now and love it. For anyone that is over 350 lbs it is a great scale to have. The voice is a bit loud so if you don’t want everyone in the house to know your weight turn it off.

This scale has been working side by side with a medical scale at our T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly)Group and does a wonderful job. Weekly members will weigh in on both scales and find them equal and this one is fun since it talks to you. We have used it two years and still have not replaced the batteries… it keeps going and going. The only problem with this scale is that you have to wake it up with a tap of your toe… it can not just be stepped on it must be woke up. I needed a scale that could weigh to this weight, and it’s doing a great job. I find that it is very accurate when used properly. When I first started using it, I found it wasn’t accurate, but it was my own fault. The scale is a bit slow, and it’s important that you stand still.

I’ll update if the scale poops out, but so far so good. The scale shipped well and arrived timely in pristine condition. It came with Amazon receipt (of course), a warranty (with serial number), one-page of simple directions, and new batteries in the box -love that. It took less than a minute to unpack and put the batteries in.

It works fine and the voice is pleasant (not too loud but loud enough). I can’t tell you how accurate it is, because I don’t have another scale to compare my weight. I got on and off and took two weights (the difference was 1.64 lbs). When you stand on most scales, you are balancing and shifting your weight; if you position yourself differently each time, a slight fluctuation may result. Once I get in the habit of placing my feet on the scale the same way every time and standing very still, I’m sure I won’t see as much fluctuation. If I took a third reading and stood more still, I might have known which of the first two was more accurate. For what I want -to know my weight (within a couple of pounds) and to monitor weight loss / gain -it is fine. At my weight, I just need to know if I am gaining or losing with a relative degree of accuracy (this scale is accurate to 1%). I really like that it is very flat and very, very wide. It was easy to step on and balance on -great for very heavy people. It’s also very lightweight, so it can easily be moved. Just remember to use it on a flat surface. The scale turns off after ten seconds, so once you “wake it up” you can’t wait all day to get on it. If you don’t want to hear the voice announce your weight, you can turn it off; the weight remains displayed a few extra seconds so you can get off and look.

Bottom line: if you need to know your weight and can’t use a scale that stops at 250, this scale is a good choice. If you want greater accuracy, spend more money… lots more. If you want to lose weight and track it weekly or bi-weekly, this scale will do.
